Ah yes, another shining example of why AMBER Alerts exist—because some people apparently think kidnapping a child and murdering two others is a good life choice. The girl's mother and brother are reported to have been shot although they are alive at the moment and are in intensive care. Thankfully, law enforcement swooped in, and the situation ended in Riverside with the suspect neutralized. Crisis averted, but not without unnecessary tragedy. It’s always heartwarming to see that, despite their best efforts, criminals still underestimate the power of modern technology and a well-coordinated police response. Hereford House Zona Rosa Location Closes Permanently

Kansas City, MO – The Hereford House restaurant located at Zona Rosa, at the intersection of I-29 and Barry Road, has officially closed its doors for good. Although the business had previously stated it would temporarily close for maintenance, confirmation from the restaurant revealed that the closure is permanent. A representative from Hereford House explained that the closure was a result of being unable to secure an acceptable lease agreement for the location. The restaurant had operated in the popular shopping area for several years but will no longer be part of the Zona Rosa lineup of eateries.
