Additional ICE Raids Across Liberty MO, Send Migrants Fleeing Tonight

BREAKING: Jackson County Executive, Manny Abarca, Becomes Unofficial Spy for Clay County's ICE Operations
In what can only be described as a riveting turn of events, Jackson County Executive Manny Abarca has unveiled to the public—through confirmed reports, of course—that ICE/HSI is raiding restaurants and hardware stores across Liberty, Missouri, tonight. Yes, folks, Liberty, located in neighboring Clay County, and why Abarca, a Jackson County official, has access to such detailed intel remains as much a mystery as the operations themselves.

Abarca, whose jurisdiction doesn't extend into Clay County (just a minor detail), has been diligently sharing with the public that ICE agents are "working west to east" in their pursuit of unknown targets. How Abarca has such precise and exclusive knowledge of these activities, you may ask? It seems he’s become the go-to source for all things law enforcement on a county-by-county basis, regardless of which county is involved.

What’s more, the ICE agents in question have been seen donning masks—an impressive effort to maintain anonymity in a raid, though whether this is to shield their identity or simply for a dramatic effect, we can’t say. So far, no signed warrants have been produced, adding yet another layer to the unfolding saga of federal overreach. The Clay County can only  confirmed that one restaurant was raided this morning but Abarca claims there are many more.

In one particularly wild incident, ICE agents allegedly fabricated a reason to enter a property and even helped themselves to stolen employment documents. If that doesn’t scream "methodical law enforcement," we don’t know what does.

So while Abarca, Jackson County’s newest unofficial government liaison for all things Clay County, works tirelessly to keep us updated, we’ll be sure to keep an eye out for further developments—assuming they aren’t covered up by the ongoing chaos of these jurisdiction-blurring operations.

Stay tuned for more, Kansas City. You can bet Manny Abarca’s insider knowledge will continue to roll in.
